anon. is excited to announce its relaunch into 2018 with an exclusive Launch Party on December 13, 7pm at fortyfivedownstairs (45 Flinders Lane, Melbourne). Showcasing three long-term projects involving seven collaborators on new cross-disciplinary experiences, the launch comes off the back of an intensive year of behind-the-scenes development.
Following success with Trailer Music II, TEDxFoggyBottom, Melbourne Recital Centre, and St. Kilda Film Festival, anon. is inviting audiences to be the first to experience 2018’s performance concepts. The event will feature three showcase areas, that will give audiences a teaser of how set design, installation art (architectural and sound), and immersive technology (virtual reality and Tilt Brush) can collide with the classical music experience. Audiences will have the opportunity to interact with early prototypes, hear an intimate performance, as well as talk with the anon. team and collaborators.
The Launch Party is a key part of anon.’s three-week Pozible Campaign where audiences can pledge $50 – or a $35 ticket and $15 donation – to receive an invite. Pledges over $300 will have exclusive access to behind the scenes meets and one-on-one sessions with their choice of anon.’s industry leading collaborators in music, design, and technology.
With a renewed creative focus on the intersection of design and music, the Launch Party is also the beginning of anon.’s renewed fundraising strategy. Across 2018-2019 anon. is inviting audiences to help co-create the next chapter to help fuel collaboration, learning from diverse talent, and new shared experiences. All donations from the crowdfunding campaign go towards the new concepts to be premiered in 2018; funding their design, development, and production.
