Bach with the Australian Chamber Choir

Bach in the Castle of Heaven

Under the direction of Douglas Lawrence, the Australian Chamber Choir’s young singers will present Bach in the Castle of Heaven. Listen to motets by J.S. Bach, Latin motets from different eras, and Allegri Miserere.

The choir was founded by Douglas Lawrence in 2007 and has toured across Australia and Europe, with some of its talent going on to sing or conduct prestigious choirs including the Newman College, Consort of Melbourne, Ensemble Gombert, and Gloriana choirs.

Read our interview with Lawrence, who compared Bach to spaghetti ahead of the last ACC concert; and his son Jacob Lawrence, who reveals a few secrets in his Con Fuoco interview.
