After almost a decade of performing throughout Italy and Europe, piano virtuoso Timothy Young is coming to Monash University to perform an intimate and immersive recital at the Robert Blackwood Hall as part of MLIVE’s Wood, Metal and Vibrating Air piano recital series. It’ll be the last performance of this series for 2018!
One of Australia’s most prominent pianists, and the founding member of Ensemble Liaison, Young performs regularly in recital as a soloist and in partnership with leading Australian and international musicians and ensembles, including Chamber Music New Zealand, the Australian String Quartet, the Australia Ensemble, and the Australian World Orchestra. Festival appearances include the Australian Festival of Chamber Music, Huntington Festival, Melbourne International Arts Festival, Queensland Biennial of Music, and Canberra International Music Festival, among others.
