This showcase is the culmination of the 2023 Hatched Composer Intensive. The triumphant end of an annual mentorship with Ensemble Offspring and international composers including former artistic director Damien Ricketson and Hatched ambassador Brett Dean, the program unites Australia’s emerging and established musical trailblazers.
Rising stars Isabella Rahme (NSW), Noemi Liba Friedman (VIC), Matthew Laing (VIC), Isabella Gerometta (QLD), and Jessica Lindsay Smith (VIC) will debut new works they have composed under the expert eye of Ensemble Offspring’s virtuoso instrumentalists.
