Figaro, Flutes and Flowers features brilliant bass baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes and internationally acclaimed flutist Jane Rutter in a musical celebration with works by Rossini, Schubert, Mozart, Handel, and Rogers and Hammerstein.
Featuring Jane’s beautiful classical and world flutes, fifes and whistles, Teddy sings Celtic and English folksongs and best-loved arias. The duo also pays homage to famed Australian baritone Peter Dawson with Australian favourites.
Accompanied by renowned pianist John Martin, these superb Australian soloists celebrate their 2021 return to the stage!
Concerts will be performed live at Avoca Beach Theatre; and as part of the Live at Lunch series at The Concourse, Chatswood, of which Jane is artistic director. There will be a digital broadcast of this program on the Melbourne Digital Concert Hall.
