SHOW 1- España El Vito the Spirit of Spain (7.30-8.45pm)
Recently SOLD OUT at the Sydney Opera House, don’t miss the only Melbourne performance of Espana El Vito with special guest, internationally acclaimed and multiple award-winning Young Steinway Artist, pianist Nicholas Young. The concert features Spanish classical to flamenco and modern jazz and the launch of Fagan’s newest vinyl album El Vito.
Matthew Fagan and Nicholas Young combine musical passion and virtuosity to celebrate Spanish repertoire for guitar and piano.
In a world first, the duo infuses the exhilarating traditional flamenco elements of Spanish Guitar into virtuosic classical piano masterpieces from composers from Manuel de Falla, Albeniz, Rodrigo and Gismonti into stunning new arrangements.
