Want to hear a lot of new Australian music?
The Australian National Academy of Music is this week hosting the culmination of The ANAM Set — “a celebration of Australian artistry, diversity and resilience”. ANAM has united 67 composers and 67 performers to create bold new collaborative works. The result is eight hours of new Australian music — a marathon commission and contribution to our creative landscape.
The ANAM Set Festival begins this week, with nine concerts spanning 13-15 May.
You can see them all with a Festival Pass, or plan your own program. Each event is at an Abbotsford Convent venue. You can start planning how you’d like to experience this occasion via the ANAM website.

Who is behind The ANAM Set, anyway?
In 2021, we interviewed some of the composer-performer pairs who have taken part in this epic project. Revisit some of these important stories ahead of their well-deserved festival.
