The Talent is an exciting live performance program on 3MBS Fine Music Melbourne, which seeks to highlight the amazing abilities of up-and-coming musicians who have recently or are currently studying.
Season 1 2022 runs from 15 March until 31 May, hosted by Dr Heather Fletcher, produced by Jem Sherwill, and featuring resident mentor Julia Hastings.
Each episode, 3MBS welcomes two new up-and-coming musicians to the program, who perform a program live on air and then receive feedback in the studio from professional mentors.
The top three performers are then invited back to 3MBS Fine Music Melbourne to give a final performance, with the winners being announced live on air on 31 May.
You too can have a say in the audience vote! Vote once each series for your favourite performer to put them in the running for the Audience Favourite award, also announced at our finals on 31 May.

The finale episode on 31 May will see the top three performers from across the season perform new repertoire. Julia Hastings and guest mentor Brett Kelly will offer live-to-air feedback and award finalists with 1st – 3rd places; a celebration of the high standard of emerging talent this season has offered.
