Young music makers are a big feature, including violinists Alexandra Conunova from Moldova and Yura Lee from the United States, cellists Johannes Moser from Germany and Finland’s Timo-Veikko Valve (now residing in Sydney), and Australia’s own exports Amy Dickson (saxophone) and Lotte Betts-Dean (soprano).

What’s more, home-grown Aussie boy Connor D’Netto (now residing in the United Kingdom) will be the youngest ever Festival Composer-in-Residence.
