Scored is Melbourne musician Kiya van der Linden-Kian’s fresh new podcast, which confronts the “cavernous fear” experienced by those leaving the academic world to build a career. Across five interviews, Kiya asks real-world artists about topics from composition to collaboration; music business to inspiration.
This week’s episode is on performance art, devising and adaptation, and is with Mick Klepner Roe who is a performance maker and artist.
Of the latest episode, Kiya tells CutCommon: “I was really interested to find out more about devising and working collaboratively in performance. The idea of adapting a novel into a performance work was also really intriguing to me, and Mick helped shed some light on both.”
