The Sydney Baroque Music Festival turns five in 2018! It will present a concert of Musical Pilgrims on 4 February.

The SBMF is an entirely student-driven initiative bringing together young musicians from all over Australia who share a passion for early music. The festival returns to Sydney after a week-long residency at Bundanon Trust, NSW, mentored by The Muffat Collective. 

On the program:

J.A. Hasse – Sinfonie in G minor Op. 5 No. 6
H.I.F. von Biber – Battalia à 10 in D major
G. Muffat – Sperantis Gaudia G minor from Florilegium Primum

F.X. Richter – Sinfonia a Quattro in Bb major
A. Vivaldi – Concerto Grosso in D minor Op. 3 No. 11
G.F. Handel – Concerto Grosso in B flat major Op. 6 No. 7
