Superstar of the tenor world Roberto Alagna will tour Australia for the first time this month, bringing with him a mixture of operatic arias and love songs.
He expresses the romance of Naples through works that have origins dating back more than 800 years. Backed by major orchestras in our capital cities, Roberto will also share the stage with emerging Australian-born opera star Siobhan Stagg.
Get ready for Puccini’s E Lucevan le stelle, Massenet’s Souverain, Verdi’s Niun mi tema, and more. He joins in with Siobhan for Giovanni Capurro’s O Sole mio, and the soprano will also sing a few arias of her own.
You can read our interview with Roberto ahead of his performances, and learn about rising star Siobhan Stagg’s global success in our Q&A.
