Winter has come – and Rubiks is celebrating with a solstice-inspired concert The Cold Earth Slept Below at the Kew Court House.
On June 12, the young musos will present a program exploring themes of death, life, and the natural world.
Rubiks was formed at the Australian National Academy of Music and showcases contemporary works through innovative performance. The group features Tamara Kohler (flutes), Gemma Tomlinson (cello), Jacob Abela (keyboards), Kaylie Melbille (percussion). Joining the group will be guest artists Kenny Keppel (clarinets), Kyla Matsuura-Miller (violin), Georgie Darvidis (voice), and Stuart Fisher (guitar).
