Brisbane composer and bass Connor D’Netto (1994) was described as ‘the model contemporary Australian composer’ by ABC Classic FM. He was named winner of the 2015 Chamber Music
Australia’s Australian New Works Award and the winning work String Quartet No. 2 in E minor was then premiered as part of the 7th Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. He was also selected to have his Chamber Symphony No. 1 premiered at the baton of James Judd in concert at Elder Hall. He is a founding member of Argo (with Benjamin Heim). D’Netto used CutCommon’s in-house mastering service for his recording of Largo for String Orchestra.
