Our second print edition is about to make its way across Australia! As we prepare, we bring you our showcase of talented emerging arts journalists who have come together to share some incredible stories about the new generation of composers, performers, and arts administrators.
Lewis Ingham is a Melbourne-based composer who is passionate about the presentation of new Australian music in its many different forms.
A Masters student in composition at the University of Melbourne, Lewis has engaged in a range of local and international composition opportunities and residencies. Most recently, he was named the 2018 Grainger Museum’s Composer-in-Residence.
Originally form the rural town of Hepburn Springs, Lewis loves the urban environment of Melbourne in which he now resides; finding constant inspiration from his surrounds.
Outside of his composing, Lewis works as a music educator and university tutor.
